When I first picked up a camera, I was also just beginning my campaign as World Cup Mountain Bike Racer.
The opportunities that came with that for capturing still images were endless.
From the highest level athletes in performance, behind the scenes of "Life on the Road" and travelling between race venue to the incredible landscapes that are found in the far corners of the globe.
I really have been spoilt for choice when it comes to opportunities and shooting photographs, because of that I feel my photography has not been limited to just one area or genre. I really do love shooting anything and everything.
After four years of world cup downhill racing and many incredible memories such as standing upon a podium in Norway as a Junior, Winning a National Championships or finishing in the top 20 of the world on home soil in Fort William I felt it was time to take a step away from competing, let my body recover from the countless injuries and concentrate of something else. I knew that "something else" was always going to be shooting photographs.
Now, fast forward the two years that i've spent juggling photography and full time employment, I've decided to bite the bullet and go all in to make this hobbie my profession.
